We had a wonderful stay at a hostel just around the corner of the van terminal. the staff at Elternative Hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They even upgraded us to a private room on our second stay. the facilities were great, with a rooftop terrace offering free water and coffee, as well as beautiful views. We appreciated the convenient location, just a short walk to El Nido and Corong-Corong. the staff went above and beyond, allowing us to store our luggage while we went on an island hopping trip. a highly recommended place to stay. Cons: Can't fault anything about it. ⭐️.

The staff at this budget-friendly hostel are extremely nice and go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. They even provided an extra fan for one traveler in the dorm. The bathrooms are well-maintained and offer hot water, ensuring a pleasant experience. Additionally, the location is convenient, being situated right next to the bus station and only a short distance from the center, allowing for easy exploration of the area.
The WiFi at the hostel has limited availability and can be unreliable, which may pose a challenge for those needing a stable internet connection.

This place is absolutely amazing! The location is super convenient, just a short stroll from the town and a gorgeous public beach. The staff is mind-blowingly helpful and friendly, always going above and beyond. The everyday free coffee and water are a jaw-dropping bonus, and the terrace is the perfect spot to relax. And let me just say, the beds are so comfortable! Can't recommend this place enough!

During my stay at this hostel, I encountered a situation that truly impressed me. One day, I fell ill and the staff went above and beyond to take care of me. They immediately took me to the nearby clinic and looked after me as if I were family. In particular, Viya, one of the staff members, took care of me like a sister and made me feel at home. Her kindness and genuine concern for my well-being will forever be ingrained in my memory. The level of hospitality I experienced at this hostel was truly excellent.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One staff member in particular stood out with his polite and friendly demeanor. the location of the hostel was convenient, with easy access to bus terminals and a short taxi ride to the harbor, bars, and restaurants. Another advantage was the cleanliness of the private room we stayed in, with good air conditioning and a private bathroom.
There were some negatives during our stay. The lack of bathroom lights and lockers in the rooms was inconvenient.

I recently stayed at Elternative Hostel in El Nido for 5 nights during my trip to the Philippines. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even allowed us to store our luggage and use the showers after we checked out before our bus back to Puerto Princesa. The private room we upgraded to was clean, spacious, and had a great air conditioning system. The outdoor shower was a unique and refreshing touch. The hostel's location near the bus terminal and a short taxi ride to the harbor and restaurants was perfect. I couldn't have asked for more from the staff and would definitely recommend this hostel to others.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The breakfast option could have been better, maybe adding some more variety would have been nice.

This hostel is in a good location, close to the bus station and a short walk from the town center. the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, with daily cleaning service. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing assistance with transportation and even bringing tea and headache cream for a sick friend. There is a nice terrace and a rooftop patio for hanging out. WiFi may be limited, but there is free drinking water available.
The WiFi can be unreliable, but this seems to be a common issue in the area.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and caring. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even sharing homemade soup with us. The location of the hostel was also great, just a short walk from the beach and local market. the rooftop terrace was a fantastic place to relax and hang out.
One downside of the hostel was that the rooms were quite small, with limited space to store our belongings. There were also no lockers available to securely store valuables.

I recently stayed at a hostel in El Nido and had a great experience. The location of the hostel was perfect, with a supermarket close by for convenience. The staff were super helpful and nice, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. I especially loved the rooftop area, where I could enjoy nice views while sipping on complimentary water and coffee. Despite the natural alarm of a nearby cockerel in the morning, it added to the ambiance of the environment. I had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting El Nido.
